Have Art, Will Travel
In the early years of the Rehoboth Art League, founder Louise Chambers Corkran arranged for artists to work with disadvantaged children through the Children’s Beach House in Lewes. Today, in partnership with many organizations, the Rehoboth Art League sends artists throughout Sussex County to leverage the arts to enhance the quality of life for many. A special focus is working with children and elderly adults who do not have the resources to travel or take RAL classes. For many, this experience opens up a new world of opportunity for creative expression.

Such is the vision that governs the work of Charles Parks, a Delaware artist who has created more than 500 figurative sculptures during the last half century.
DTC: The Outgoing Tide
The Delaware Theatre Company presents "The Outgoing Tide", featuring actors Peter Strauss, Ian Lithgow and Michael Learned. This drama by Barrymore Award-winning playwright Bruce Graham, and directed by Executive Director Bud Martin, runs from Wednesday, October 10 through Sunday, October 28 at DTC before a six-week run in New York City.

Delaware Choral Society
Formed in 1957, the Delaware Choral Society features works by composers from the Renaissance to the present, as well as renditions of spirituals and folk music, performed in concerts held at least twice every year. Dover Symphony Orchestra

The Smyrna Opera House
The Smyrna Opera House was originally built in 1870 and was restored as a community cultural arts center promoting access to the arts in central Delaware. Operated by the non-profit Smyrna-Clayton Heritage Association, it is dedicated to showcasing and developing local creative, visual and performing artists while offering affordable access to the arts and varied cultural and artistic experiences to people of all ages and backgrounds. Warner Arts Alliance
The Warner Arts Alliance is a coalition of organizations that work with the Warner School to infuse the arts into the curriculum. Each organization works with a different grade level, from pre-school to fifth grade, to enrich the lives of underserved students. This program is made possible, in part, by a project award from the Delaware Association of Nonprofit Agencies, in cooperation with the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
